Inspiration, Imagination and Visualizing are three basic qualities that drove me into photography.
Inspiration, Imagination and Visualizing are three basic qualities that drove me into photography.
Inspiration:
I drew inspiration from great pictures I saw in my school days. My first inspiration was PC Sreeram & Santhosh Sivan renowned cinematographers from Chennai and of course from my close friend Santhosh Kumar, who taught me first lessons in photography. I would like to thank my family, friends and all well-wishers in this first article. Photography, like any form of art needs inspiration. It helps us to keep moving and improve us in our works.
Imagination:
Imagination is the next best thing to use after inspiration. Just plain imagination of whatever inspired us, as a picture in our eyes. Better done having our eyes closed. Imagination has no boundaries; we can travel anywhere, to any extent with imagination.
Visualize:
This is the place where Imagination has to end. To begin with, as a new photographer (who wants to be a professional), this is very important, before picking up a camera, visualize exactly what you want to see as a picture and then start shooting.
